On December 25 Sergey Dolya, a well-known Russian blogger, gave a lecture at the Darwin Museum, where exhibition Nature and Animals of Russia, organized by the Amur Tiger Center with the support of the Russian Geographical Society is taking place at the moment. Dolya told the museum visitors about his travels and showed amazing photos.
Sergey started with a story about his trip to the North Pole. Guests heard many interesting facts about how to live in tents in the Arctic North, about the unique life on an icebreaker and the habits of rare animal species. Then the blogger showed unique photos from the most remote corners of Russia: Yakutia, the Far East, Altai and Baikal. This winter, Dolya visited Primorsky Krai, where, accompanied by the employees of the Amur Tiger Center, visited the Zov Tigra (The Сall of the Tiger) National Park and saw eyes the traces of this rare predator himself.
The traveler finished his lecture with photographs, interesting facts about the way of life of peoples and legends and customs of different countries of the world. Dolya’s photos are not only an amazing treasure trove of travels from around the world, but also an example of high art.
Unique photos of the life of rare species of animals and breathtaking landscapes will be displayed on the 5th floor of the Darwin Museum exhibition complex until January 18th. Visitors will also see the best pictures submitted to the photo contest called "Nature and Animals of Russia". The main goal of the exhibition is to draw attention to the problems of nature conservation and rare species of animals, including the Amur tiger. During the New Year holidays the entrance to the museum will be free.
