Tournament on dance sport "Amur tiger 2015" started in Vladivostok

On September 27, the first Russian tournament in dance sport “The Amur Tiger-2015” took place in Vladivostok, which is celebrating its favorite corporate holiday, the Tiger's Day for the 16th time.

The idea of ​​organizing a large dancing festival dedicated to the striped cat, a unique symbol of Primorye and all of Russia, belongs to the Amur Tiger Center.  The initiative was supported by Konstantin Chuichenko, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Amur Tiger Center, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation.  The partners in the organization of the large-scale event were the administration of Primorsky Krai, as well as dance sports clubs Avangard (Moscow) and Tornado-Dens (Vladivostok).

Dancers and judges from different parts of the Far East and the whole country gathered at the competition for a unique cup.  The tournament “Amur Tiger - 2015” was opened by Sergey Golov, Deputy General Director for Development of the Amur Tiger Center.

“I hope that the Russian tournament on sports dance, called the "Amur tiger", will become an annual event. Indeed - the beauty will save the world! Let tiger tiger posture and wisdom will be passed to the younger generation, which today is represented on the stage and in the auditorium.” – welcomed all the participants Sergey Heads.

The tournament was held at one of the best concert venues in the capital of Primorye. Viewers expect many surprises from the organizers and the main character of the holiday – the Amur tiger. The dance was presented by "tiger" collection of clothing and accessories Russian designer Valentin Yudashkin, specially designed for the Centre "Amur tiger" in the framework of joint charity project.

“The Amur Tiger 2015 Tournament, launched in Vladivostok, is fully claiming the title of international, and next year we will do this by collecting the best dance couples in the world,” promised Valentin Yudashkin, President of the Union of Dance Sport of Russia.

The main character of the Day of the Tiger - the "tiger cub" awarded prizes and awards to the winners.  300 dancers from Primorsky and Khabarovsk Krai, as well as from St. Petersburg, Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod took part in the competition.  The judicial brigade also became representative - the dancing duets of 40 arbitrators from different parts of Russia were evaluated.

“The leaders of the Tornado-Dance dance club Dmitry Stytsyuk and Elena Solovyova took all the preparatory work and the festival on their shoulders,” - said Mikhail Fratkin, head of the Avangard dance sport club (Moscow).  - “Competitions were held at the highest level. Particularly pleased with the full thousandth hall of the FESCO Hall, it means that there is a spectator, and he is happy to support the new initiative of the Amur Tiger Center.”

The first Russian tournament in sport dancing “The Amur Tiger - 2015” has become a “new page” in celebration of the Tiger's Day in Vladivostok, which has a 16-year history.
