Amur Tiger Center - the official partner of the contest "Trail Camera-2015"

On the eve of the anniversary of the 100th anniversary of the development of nature conservation in Russia, the First National Competition "Camera Traps 2015" is held to determine the best works obtained using hunting chambers. The organizer of the photo contest is Forest Monitoring. The Amur Tiger Center is an official partner and sponsor of the Cat's nomination.

The purpose of the competition is to show the possibilities of using modern technologies and to encourage their use in the field of protection, study, observation and environmental protection.  In addition, it provides an educational component.  Within its framework, the participants will have access to the experience of other applicants, thanks to which they will be able to compare images obtained from different cameras and make the most of this experience in their activities in the future.

The competition "Camera Traps 2015" provides for separate participation for nature reserves and national parks, and for ordinary users.  Both photos and videos are accepted for participation in the competition.

The full list of nominations is as follows: "Predators", "Ungulates", "Cats", "Birds", "Other species of animals", "Rare frame", "The most unexpected story", "The most amusing story".

The main prize for nature reserves and national parks anti-poaching complex instant alerts "Altai". The magazine "Magic is real "Safari" will provide holders of the first three places in some of the nominations on an annual subscription edition. The author of the best work in the nomination "The unexpected story" will get the action camera GoPro HERO4. In addition, winners are waiting for camera traps, video recorders and other awards.

The contest is held with the support of the Association of Rosohotrybolovsouz, Department of state policy and regulation in the field of hunting and preservation of hunting resources Ministry of natural resources and environmental education Center "Reserves".

Reception works for the contest kicked off on 18 may 2015. Vote for the best works will begin August 1, 2015. Results will be announced at the end of the year.
